Sugar is a natural humectant which draws moisture from the environment into the skin, the sugar helps to hydrate your skin and keep the moisture in. Sugar is a natural source of glycolic acid, which encourages cell turnover generating fresher, younger-looking skin.
Sugar's small particles make an excellent exfoliant as they help to remove dead surface skin cells and reveal the glowing, healthy-looking skin underneath.
Simply scoop a small amount out of the jar, massage in circular motions over wet skin in the shower or bath to exfoliate the areas needed, wash off and pat dry with a towel.
