Kanuka essential oil is considered broad spectrum for fighting viral and fungal infections, making it excellent for reducing unwanted microbial activity.

Kanuka is an excellent skin penetrator, allowing the oil to quickly penetrate deep into the muscle. Because of its strong anti-inflammatory effect, kanuka essential oil is good for chronic inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia. Kanuka oil is also great when used topically on the skin for treating burns and insect bites.
